Welcome to Sticky Toe Gecko! I am committed to providing quality captive bred geckos and invertebrates from around the world. These animals have brought great enjoyment to my life and I hope to share that experience with anyone else that finds these creatures as fascinating as I do.

As our society evolves and humans become more distant from nature, it seems there is a part of us that still craves to be surrounded by the natural world in some form. For some people this means growing a lovely garden. For others, having a dog is enough. However many people have limited space for such endeavors. I think this is a significant reason as to why reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, have become such popular pets over the last decade. Whether you are a first time reptile owner or a dedicated hobbyist or collector, Sticky Toe Gecko is here to cater to your needs.

I strive for quality not quantity, and I provide excellent service and follow-through for all of my customers. You will not find geckos produced in mass quantities for sale here. You WILL find geckos that are raised singly in their own cages, have documented bloodline and parentage information for your own records, individual hatch dates, and notes on their individual personalities and behavior.

Check out a recent article in the SF Chronicle featuring some of my work at the CA Academy of Sciences.

As of 2008 I have decided I will no longer be breeding crested geckos. They are indeed, one of my favorite species to work with, but for now, I will be focusing on other exciting projects.

I am raising up 4 young rough knobtail geckos (N. amyae). 3 of the 4 are light peach colors. Once they are sexable, I will be offering them for sale. Please email to be placed on the 2008 waiting list for these 2007 offspring and future 2008 offspring!

I am also raising up 3 New Caledonian mossy geckos (R. chahoua). The youngest, I will be making available very soon as unsexed, and the 2 older geckos I will be making available once they are sexable (a few months from now). Please email if interested.

For Summer 2008, I have put together a couple African Fat Tail Gecko breeding projects consisting of heterozygous for patternless, amelanistic, het for amelenistic, and het for amelanistic/patternless! This is a long term project, so I likely will not have any available until 2009.

I have 2 very special young male gargoyle geckos available. These are from the same linneage as my "Spider Gargoyle". This is an unproven trait, but it has popped up several times in one of my breeding groups. Visually, they look reticulated, but have a partial vertebral stripe. They show a high-contrast pattern with small amounts of orange/red background coloration. Please see my available page for pictures of my Spider Gargoyle and these two males which I believe carry the trait also (should it be proven genetic).
